Galileo Discover

Discover automatically generates video insights about your application, helping you quickly understand user behavior and issues without watching hours of session replays.

What is Discover?

Discover transforms your Ask Galileo conversations into shareable video presentations. Each video features an AI narrator that walks through key insights from your app, complete with relevant session recordings and visual context.

Getting Started

Accessing Discover

1. Navigate to the Discover tab in your LogRocket dashboard
2. If you don't see the Discover tab, contact support to enable this feature for your organization

Viewing Videos

The Discover home page shows a grid of automatically generated videos:

• Completed videos are ready to watch immediately
• Processing videos (created within the past hour) show a loading state
• Click any video thumbnail to watch in full-screen mode

Managing Streams

Streams are automated video generation rules that create Discover content on a schedule.

To manage streams:

1. Click "Manage Streams" from the Discover home page
2. Set up topics or patterns you want Galileo to monitor
   1. Question - choose the question you want Galileo to ask on a recurring basis. We recommend questions like "What are the top new issues that have shown up in the past week?" or "How are people using X page"?
   2. Interval - how often you want a video generated
   3. Duration - approximate duration of video
   4. Show Avatar - whether to show the Galileo avatar or not
   5. Active - enable/disable this particular video gream
3. Click "Generate Videos from Streams" to instantly generate videos from your questions. On an ongoing basis, LogRocket will automatically generate this videos either daily or weekly.

Note that video generation typically takes 5-10 minutes
